DIRTY LYNX - 11-28-2008
Skins line wider now
I've been working on the skins for DL lately and am planning to do more :) The result so far is the Rinji skin series. It's
certainly provided in clean form in a couple of different skin tones, but the real mccoy is the Warrior Kitty and Gothica modifications. The first one with bruises, scars, plasters and dirty all over, the second one being pale with intensive makeup, black tears and facial tattoo. More to come as soon as I'm ready with my present katana fever :)
DIRTY LYNX - 11-05-2008
Flood. Second wave.

I've been postin here scarcely lately and I've missed a couple of our new releases. Well, a couple... not very precise, it's rather pretty big a pack :) Not much leisure in Dirty Lynx this autumn, we're continuously expanding the product line and we've still got some surprises in our pockets :)
I'll try to go through the items chronologically starting with the latest: We've got two new designs of the Kasai chuckers out there! I've made one rather female and one rather rough for the gentlecatz :) Designer graphic motives are all over them, perfect for all the urban fashion junkies. I guess they're pretty stylish in the end compared to the older two designs, and I still didn't leave the concept and am planning for more fabulous pieces to come.
The next thing would be the Elizabeth variation on the Victoria shoes theme. I've been told too many times that I should make more designs based on the uber succesfull Victorias. So here they are. Decent, very stylish, same quality as the first design, I hope all the steampunk ladies will have another addition to their wardrobes, and if there's public demand for it, i got some more designs in my sleeve :)
I've also made two new additions to the t-shirts line in DL. The Onryo and the Usual Suspect sets coem in various colors and are filling the gap at the cheaper end of our production. I've actually might have a surprise here, and there's quite some chance we'll see some pieces by my RL designer friends.
The ladies in the team have done very well too. Marinoco participated with two gorgeous corset gowns, both with blood traces and cut by a katana in the back. The black one, Goke and the white one which I called "the Bride" for quite obvious KillBill reminiscence. the inspiration is also easy to see in the boxing :)
And Ivanka, risen from the dead, as she's been idle for almost two months, has produced two excellent gowns as well. The usual outstanding quality, long massive skirts, we're going more steam and old victorian style with the Okami and Ryoushi gowns I would say :)
The last but not least... For quite some time I've had this idea on my mind. It's rather a toy/joke than a fashion product, but I think you'll love it. I've been observing the homeless residents standing on the meeting points and chat places in Second Life and figured they might need a home to WEAR with them. Not everybody has the resources to purchase a piece of land of their own and having a mobile shelter is quite useful in this situation. It's going to be a serie as usual and I called it the GridSquat. The first piece is the Camper, which is a combo of a tent with sculpted tree above it, a fireplace and some garbage around. The trick is that you don't need to have rezzing rights in the area - it's an attachment, with HUD control. this way you can be home anywhere on the grid :)
Related to this, there's an announcement I want to make :) Our team has grown again and I'm happy to welcome Starfleets Ruska. With his previous experience in building grunge urban furniture and equipment not only did he take care of the gridSquat series as a builder, but it also means that DL will be exploring one more area to be active in. Stay tuned :)
